Dr. Renee and Dr. Bader started a podcast together - Bee Natural Radio. Be sure to check it out. It's available on iTunes!

Dr. Renee completed a year long mentorship with Dr. Bob Quinn, DSOM and Daniel Silver LAc at NUNM, and mastered the art of Japanese Meridian Theory and Japanese Acupuncture Techniques under their instruction. Throughout her medical school career, Dr. Renee apprenticed with her mentor, Dr. Bernie Bayard, ND LAc, studying true naturopathic medical philosophy, Dr. Gueniot homeopathic prescribing™ and protocols, and self practice such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Meditation.

Dr. Renee has a deep love and passion for Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine, as it has truly saved her own life. At a very young age, Dr. Renee had numerous food sensitivities, debilitating digestive problems, severe seasonal allergies, and many childhood illnesses. During her young adult life, she experienced hormonal imbalances, constant fatigue, and her digestive issues only worsened. Along with her own health concerns, she saw many of her loved ones suffer from cancer and chronic degenerative diseases. She knew there was more that could be done than what allopathic Western medical care was offering them. She wanted to understand the root cause of disease and how to fix it naturally.

From this curiosity and determination to heal herself, Dr. Renee began to take her health into her own hands. She found a love for organic and anti-inflammatory farm to table cooking, started using food as medicine, botanical medicine and nutritional supplementation, and began practicing mindful exercise.

Dr. Renee discovered Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine while studying for her MCATs during her undergraduate years at The University of Georgia. At the University of Georgia, she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and a minor in Nutrition. During her junior year, she was helping conduct research for the anthocyanin and polyphenol counts of blackberries and blueberries, when her professor told her to look into NUNM (NCNM at the time). From then, as they say, it was history. Dr. Renee knew in her heart that Western Medical school would not give her the tools to help and heal others like she wanted, and this was it!

When she isn't seeing patients or reading and researching about natural medicine, Dr. Renee spends her time doing barre3 workouts, taking dance and yoga classes, going on hikes, deepening her meditation and tai chi practice, and developing anti-inflammatory, nutrient dense recipes for her patients and family. She loves spending time with her husband and close friends, taking trips to the Oregon Coast, and making visits to see her family back in the Lonestar State of Texas.

Dr. Renee has been a guest speaker at The National University of Natural Medicine, barre3, New Seasons Market, and Professional Formulas, and holds workshops all over educating her community on natural healing practices. Teaching is one of her greatest passions. If you would like to hire Dr. Renee as a guest speaker for an event or workshop, please email her at
